Steven Pattullo Commodore Lot
From Build Database
In 2021 game developer Steven Pattullo listed 6 disks containing Commodore 64 source code for sale. These are stored on 5 1/4 floppy disks. At this time the disks aren't shipped but will be dumped as soon as appropriate hardware is sourced or someone can help dump UK side.
The main concern is these disks are 30+ years old, They're untested and possibly contain bitrot.
The disks were purchased by Damien after speaking to Steven directly. A special thanks To Dink for spotting is needed too as without him these could be lost.
Steven's listing stated,
6 disks containing games I worked in the early 1990's. The most famous one is 'Escape from Colditz' by Digital Magic Software. I originally programmed the game before I left the company. There is a version on the net from another programmer but is a lot different to mine. I had the game running in 50 frames and you could explore all of the castle and the rooms.
I have no idea what stages the games are at on the disks as they getting on for 30 years old. To be honest I would not know if the disks work, however they seem to be in great condition. The other work on the disks are for a platform game I started but got fed up with and a 3D parallax scrolling version of Pacmania. From what I remember the source codes should be there as I saved them to disk using an Action Replay cartridge, this would have also saved the Laser Genius Assembler that I used.
If you are a Commodore collector then these are a very unique find. I came across them whilst moving things to my garage. They are a complete one off and nobody will have anything like them.
